I have been Showing and Breeding Japanese Spitz for over 25 years as a Registered Dogs Australia member. I am also a Dogs Australia Judge.

All of my puppies are extremely well socialised and raised in the house, admits the sounds and sights of a busy household. All my puppies are especially happy, bold and confident. All my dogs are titled either Supreme, Grand or Australian Champions and I ensure I use the best Dog for each of my girls even importing semen to ensure the gene pool is extensive in my breeding program. My dogs are apart of my family not kennelled.

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

Yes, I follow Puppy Puzzle protocols and spend lots of time preparing my puppies ready for their new homes. They are raised within my house amoungst the sites and sounds of a busy household and are balanced in body, mind and soul. I take pride in ensuring I am breeding to better the breed and not for an income.

Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?

All my Puppy sold as pets are required to be desexed and a form is signed and lodged with Dogs Qld to this effect. I will then need a Veterinary certificate provided to me when they have been desexed at six months of age.

Question. Is ensuring that your puppies go to the right home a high priority? What type of measures do you take to ensure your dogs and puppies are going to go to loving homes?

I ensure that I meet each one of my potential Puppy buyers, either in person or via zoom to ensure they are a right fit for one of my puppies. I match my puppies temperaments to my potential puppy buyers ensure the pup is the right fit for that home.
